What Are the Lyrics to Your Song?

It’s 7:39pm on my way back from work.

I’m in a taxi, with the passenger next to me probably reading what I’m typing here on my cell.

Just realized I need to post something for my WordPress blog.

Not sure what exactly.

But I’m figuring I should update on what’s been on my mind lately.

And that’s been bliss.

In the sense of overcoming the fear of doing what I love.

Instead of being caught up with what the system asks of me to “survive” within the monetary system.

I’ve been reading a lot of Dr. Wayne Dyer’s updates on Facebook.

And he’s all about purpose.

My favorite quote from him is:

“Never die with your music still in you.”

About how the wealthiest piece of land in the planet is the graveyard, with a lot of people dying with their dreams…desires…what they were REALLY good at not having been fulfilled.

So what will happen, if you did?

If you took the steps, step by step, that led you to producing or creating or designing your inner “song?”

Until one day, the world hears your “song,”

What you are really about,

Who you really are?

…Bliss.

I love you.

I’m sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

Long Live to The Spirit of the Nation Long Live

Some things are just too heartbreaking to write about.

But in it’s own way writing can be healing.

He’s every where now…pun unintended.

On the TV.

Newspaper ads.

Even as I type this in the taxi back to town from Randburg, the driver is opting to play some Phil Collins (that “one more night” song) as opposed to hearing struggle songs or radio DJs asking people, the nation, to share their thoughts on his passing.

It was an eventuality what hard to accept.

Such are the stages of moaning.

That’s one example of a man who didn’t die with his book still in him.

“Death is something inevitable.

When a man has done what he considers to be his duty to his people and his country, he can rest in peace.

I believe I have made that effort and that is, therefore, why I will sleep for the eternity.”
~ Nelson Mandela

When I Say "Happy New Year" To You, I Mean It!

For this to be a happy new year (I use the words “new year” in the context of it being different from last year. We tend to celebrate even before we have conquered, I don’t know whether to call it arrogance or confidence…but I’ll go for the latter) one must focus on improving on last year’s habits.

Habits are just a series of actions you keep repeating.

You have come to do them so frequently that they have become so familiar to you, you end up doing them unconsciously. Now they have become a part you so much that you end up defending them. They now make up your belief. You have claimed them as your own, you have tagged them as who you are.

And since in life – like Dr. Wayne Dwyer puts it, you don’t attract what you want, you attract what you are – our inner beliefs (“A belief is only a thought you keep thinking.” – Abraham-Hicks) manifest into our outer habits and how these habits (repetitive unconscious actions) attract things to you, it is important to change your beliefs in order for you to receive “change” in your life.

Belief then Habits which are your Actions = Results

Pat O’Bryan says it best in how your inner game has to change before your outer game changes.

One has to invite one’s beliefs to change by adopting new habits.

The idea is to teach your beliefs why you are now adopting new habits – this is done through disciplines like autosuggestion in the form of:

  • visualizations,
  • affirmations,
  • frequent written statements of WHY you want to attract your goal(s),
  • meditation,
  • carrying goal cards around,
  • role playing,
  • and even this mirror technique I’ve just come across from the book I’ve been currently reading

– so that your beliefs match with the habits you are persistent in your implementation of them, which in turn calls on you to take Inspired Action that produces Deliberate Results in your life.

By action I mean those small yet deliberate actions that you do everyday which will one day (idealistically one should have a timeline – depending in which teachings you admire most) produce the results you want. i.e. Ask yourself, “If you kept on doing the things you are doing now for the next 20 years, are you going to be in the same place you are in or somewhere better?”

It’s those kind of inspired actions I am taking about.

Life rewards action.

That’s how anyone gets anything new in their lives, they adopt new actions to invite the news in their lives (I mean “news” in the sense of “new stuff”).

So as much as I would love to say a Happy New Year to you, I just wonder if there’s anything New about this Year for you to be Happy about?

But you’re probably not into this personal development BS & you probably like most of us out there relying on having a “cross your fingers” approach in life. You know, relying on the luck of the draw to give you that instant jackpot prize towards the things you want out of life?

How has that been working for you?

How has the last 5 years changed for you?

Are you any closer to your goals?

Do you even HAVE goals?

How can you measure success if you do not have goals?

How can you become successful when you don’t know how success looks like for you?

How would you know you have arrived?

When would you know to get excited and celebrate your success?

If you are still breathing, it is never too late to set goals for yourself and the plans, the steps you believe you need to take in order to accomplish these goals, starting right were you are right now and reaching for your goals.

Those small, easy to do, daily steps that when done with determination and consistency will make you achieve your desired chief definite goals.

I Can Never Lose, I Can Only Gain

Sometimes in life I get so focused on how much I don’t have that I am blinded to all that I DO have.

Over the past few weeks I have experienced a change in the relationship I had with 2 of the most influential people in my life.

These ladies I have grown to admire & love have somehow taken to communicating with me telephatically instead of the verbal or written (via text or email) medium I have grown used to.

Changes in my life, especially sudden unexpected ones, cause discomfort.

I am possessive.

If there’s a certain path my life is travelling on & if that very path is comfortable for me, I stick to it or else I voluntarily change course and allow other things in as I see fit, for whatever reason.

It is this unwillingness for change that has made my days so …challenging.

My friends & mentors, Dr. Wayne W. Dyer in his golden classic, “Real Magic” and Neale Donald Walsch in my current read When Everything Changes Change Everything advice that I become observer & not a victim.

I should learn to avoid changing things after they have already happen, but to recognise them and then go straight into fixing them from at “source level”.

“Nothing has meaning save the meaning you give it.” – Neale Donald Walsch

In Between The Dripping Nose This Came To Me

I enjoy living in my own world, teaching myself about the law of attraction pointing at things and saying to myself, “I attracted that!”

Like now.

Sinusitis is having a field day with my face today, but what I need do is focus on healing and being grateful for it.

Making a deliberate effort of projecting an image in my mind of a health version of myself will increase the healing process.

I have found that nature always leans on the side of progress, increase, abundance, perfect health and eternal love, peace and spontaneous joy and laughter, gratitude, happiness and passion.

If I am not in a healthy positive mood, I am being unnatural.

I might be normal but not natural.

I am some how standing in the way of my freedom and positive attitude.

Actually it’s my ego that is standing in the way, always in need of attention, recognition and to be comfort and to feel superior.

The blockage holds back the loving energy that I and all things are, you included by the way, and this build up causes discomfort, tension, stress, pain and struggle.

Which comes to me in the form of negative people or circumstance and even irregular bodily functions.

When this is just a belief that I can first change by changing my perception of it.

“When I judge someone, I do not define them, I define myself.” – Dr. Wayne W. Dyer

So my negative belief about something or someone is in fact the negativity I associate myself with at the same time.

This error in thinking is against the essence of what makes the world tick – which is variations of positively-inclined, abundant energy – and will therefore cause my to experience temporary discomfort.

It’s like swimming against the tide of the universe. A universe which you are a part of.

Today’s recommendation is Hale Dworskin’s The Sedona Method, which is a must have if you want to learn of a way to “heal” limiting beliefs that cause pain, disease, even failure.

Image releasing the things in your mind that block you from using the full 100% of your energy, portions of which are locked fueling past concepts that are limiting your current success…, loving relationships and perfect health included!

Now as to what might be the cause of my dis-ease…

“Dis-ease cannot live in a body that is at ease.” – Bob Proctor in The Secret.

…that needs more than a blog for me to write on.

PS. I have come to having faith in the fact that all events lead to the same outcome. And it is always a positive one.

Even Jack Canfield mentioned in his The Success Principles(TM): How to Get from Where You Are to Where You Want to Be that “everything that happens in your life is leading you towards your goal” so it’s only natural for me to see the good in all experiences, even the not so cool ones.

That is why in the temporary condition I am in, a condition that is making its way out of my body as we speak, I was inspired to bring to your attention this releasing technique that works according to testimonials.

But I’ve always prefer experience of being a far greater teacher amongst all.

Buy the book – it was going for $11.56 on amazon at the time of this posting), change your life, and prosper.
