Front Toward Enemy

24-Lewis-tells-Frank-to-cut-the-white-wire-and-it-works-1080x675So I had an enlightening morning power meeting with my two year old daughter, on the morning drive to daycare.

She didn’t flat out laugh at my face when I told her that I’m going to try taking a break from Facebook for a while.

But she did look at me, then looked out the window, mumbling something inaudible.

Hate it when she sideways cusses me.

Anyway, this idea was from a Reader’s Digest article that said FaceBook is not good for your mental health.

I think spending anytime on screens for prolonged periods, should affect you some how.

But more so on your handheld device.

Due to how it increases your anxiety levels, it’s no wonder you find it hard to sleep.

Or do you strain your mind and body with enough anxiety simulation that you eventually pass out due to exhaustion?

I’ve dissed women many times for their love of talking.

But that is one of their greatest assets.

Men don’t talk much, especially when we are hurting.

Keeping all that pain inside eventually spills out in ugly ways, sometimes.

But talking about your feelings as a man is a sign of weakness you see? Very feminine.

I guess that’s why most of the gays I know as so successful in life.

Those guys talk hey?

It’s as if talking is a success principle.

Guys should talk about their feelings more. But for some death is more preferable, since it’s things like these that lead to depression.

Left untreated then you will have people like me using you to promote mental health awareness.

It made me think about we are walking around with Claymore mines in our pockets, in the form of cellphones…

loopable-ekg-line-ekg-monitor-ekg-machine-heart-health-blue-ecg-monitor-shows-healthy-heart-beat-seamless-loop_sfw_cr5e__F0002

Been having a lot of pent up anger of late.

It compounds.

Lack of sleep.

Haven’t been reading a good book for almost a week now.

Missing out on my daily meditations.

Haven’t been rewriting my goals.

Not been listening to motivational audios.

Skipping motivational & educational videos.

It’s been months since I’ve been visualizing my success.

I haven’t been exercising as much as I did.

Been poorly taking my vitamins and supplements.

All things happening daily, gradually, to a point where I feel exhausted physically and mentally.

Dropping my emotional intelligence.

I’m in the business of where losing your cool would cost you your job.

That love and hate relationship of being concerned of losing the job you hate.

Where now I incorrectly blame others for my lack of self mastery.

You attract what you are.

Happiness is an inside job.

Won’t happen overnight, but you can change your direction overnight.

The rest is just consistency on your part.

Change begins when you take 100% responsibility of what’s happening around you.

To you.

Through you.

The Secret to Making Money…

rands-9ad1b14f-large

I sometimes have these enlightening moments during the taxi ride to work in the afternoons.

Busy observing. The homeless in particular of late.

They understand how to make money.

Maybe it’s a matter of better managing the money they are getting to better their financial situation.

Much like most of us.

But they know how to make money.

They understand the principle of making money.

Cause & effect.

Service & reward.

Service rendered gets compensated …usually.

Some beg.

And through their appeal for sympathy, and with the power of the law of averages, some are paid for it.

Cause & effect.

Their actions are being paid for.

Others do tricks, another income generating practice, like a dance routine.

We black folks love to dance.

The entertainment industry, is a trillion dollar industry.

We might as well tap in to it.

This act is a form of service offered.

Zim-Zam-Zimbabwe-tourism-to-use-rands-800x400

And after the street dancing act, before the robots go green, they walk along the driver’s side, hat in hand, asking for pay.

Heck I even saw a juggler today, it’s been a while.

Others even help with parking. Assuming that you can’t park. To then proceed to tell you that they will “look after” your car while you are away.

And then when you come back, they ask for any financial contribution for their effort.

Here you were thinking you’re avoiding paid parking.

It reminded me of how earning money isn’t that hard.

It comes as a result of providing a service.

Providing a service to others.

Ideally a service that they need.

If you want to make more money, then you would need to increase the amount of people you serve.

Making money is not rocket science.

Not for those willing to put in the work.

There really is no secret to making money, come to think of it.

You are paid in accordance to the service you provide.

Mark 3:13-15

If you had 12 disciples in the form of 12 disciplines or 12 principles you would use in your life to “have the authority to cast out” the demons of our lives, demons in the form of life’s obstacles and challenges, what would they be?

Not in any order but I propose, not in any specific order. Their names would be:

#1. Gratitude.

#2. Faith.

#3. Persistence.

#4. Patience.

#5. (my favourite) Action-Inspired.

#6. Goal-Setting.

#7. Sensory Visualization (closing your eyes and visualizing success with all your physical senses).

#8. Compound-Action (the most silent of the disciples).

#9. Given (also known as Karma).

#10. Peema (aka PMA, aka Positive Mental Attitude).

#11. Focus.

#12. Silence (the most outspoken).

These would be my disciples who I will walk with daily. I will eat with them, rest with them, bath with them, laugh with them and seek guidance and consultation with them.

Why Taking 100% Responsibility for Your Life Is SOooooo Important

Take 100% responsibility for you life. Only then would you have the power to begin changing it according to how you would like it to be.

Act as if you are 100% responsible for everything that is happening in your life. Own every detail of the good and not so good things that are happening. After accepting everything that you have created, use that energy to design it according to your rules.

How To Use This Energy Of Taking 100% Responsibility Of Your Life To Create The Lifestyle You Want:

Write out what you would like to see happen in your relationships.

Write down what you would like to see happen with your finances.

Write down what you would like to see happen in your physical health.

The more specific you are, the more clarity you put in the script of your ideal life – the faster you will receive inspiration from Source Energy or God to encourage you to take action towards making designed changes in your life. Because now YOU are in charge. It is YOU that has total control of your life.

“All things are possible WITH God” that means God cannot do it all by Himself. He needs your help to make change happen in your life. And change begins WITH you.

“If you keep doing what you have kept on doing, you will keep getting what you have kept on getting.”

So take the time now to do something different, something that will positively contribute to your life instead of letting yourself be run over by life – take control, take charge, take 100% responsibility and begin this by taking the time to write down how you would like it to be.

Be clear.

Be specific.

Be unrealistic.

And let the exercise feel your mind with images of your desired life.

Put all your energy on the “what” and how it would feel like to receive it.

And leave the “how” to God.

“What the mind of man can conceive, and believe, it can create.”

And now – with a heartfelt welcome from Jack Canfield and Janet Switzer – let’s get started with today’s Mentorship Message…

TAKE 100% RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR LIFE

As human beings, we often believe we don’t have enough money, romance, success or joy in our lives. But what we need to understand is that greatness exists in all of us. It’s simply a matter of pulling that greatness out of ourselves and using it to get us from where we are now…to where we want to be.

While many people believe they are entitled to live a great life, top achievers we’ve met over the years know they must take 100% responsibility for achieving the lifestyle, relationships, financial freedom and opportunities they experience in their lives.

This isn’t always easy. But one way to start taking more responsibility is to begin responding differently to the events that occur in your life. Remember the formula from Principle #1 of The Success Principles book?

—->>> E + R = O

Event + Response = Outcome. That’s right…you can actually change the outcomes in your life – and get better ones – simply by responding differently to challenges and opportunities that occur.

Listen now as Jack walks you through how to respond differently using the E+R=O formula. Click on this audio link now and wait a few moments for today’s audio lesson to start playing:

(Update: Subscribe to Jack Canfield’s Newsletter to receive these audios via www.thesuccessprinciples.com)

Taking 100% responsibility is what successful people do. And it’s the first step YOU must take on your new Success Principles journey.

We’ll see you tomorrow with another mentorship message.

In friendship,

JACK CANFIELD and JANET SWITZER

Success Principles from The Science of Getting Rich

This is the latest edition to my “wall of abundance

Read these Principles “out loud” to yourself as often as possible!

1. There is a thinking stuff from which all things are made, and which, in its original state, permeates, penetrates, and fills the interspaces of the universe.”

(This “thinking stuff” is God – the rich omnipresent substance of the Universe)

2. A thought in this substance produces the thing that is imaged by the thought.”

“When I form things in my thought, and by impressing my thought upon formless substance, I can cause the things I think about to be created.”

“(This is the power of God – the Source, Supply, Substance, Support and Success for all my good.)”

3. In order to do this, I must pass from the competitive mind to the creative mind.”

“Otherwise I cannot be in harmony with formless intelligence, which is always creative and never competitive in spirit.”

4. I come into full harmony with the formless substance by entertaining a lively and sincere gratitude for the blessings it bestows upon me.”

“Gratitude unifies my mind with the intelligence of substance, so that my thoughts are received by the formless.”

“I can remain upon the creative plane only by uniting myself with the formless intelligence through a deep and continuous feeling of gratitude.”

5. I must form a clear and definite mental image of all the things that I wish to have, to do, or to become, and I must hold this mental image in my thoughts, while being deeply grateful to the supreme (God) that all my needs and desires are granted to me.”

“As I wish to get rich, I must spend my leisure hours in contemplating this vision, and in earnest thanksgiving that the reality is being given to me.”

6. It is extremely important that I indulge in frequent contemplation of the mental image, coupled with unwavering faith and devout gratitude.”

“This is the process by which the impression is given to the formless and the creative forces set in motion.”

7. The creative energy works through the established channels of natural growth, and of the industrial and social order.”

8. All that is included in my mental images will surely be brought to me as I follow these instructions and do not let my faith waver in the slightest. What I want will come to me through the ways of established trade and commerce (business).”

9. In order to receive my own when it is ready to come to me, I must be in action in a way that causes me to more than fill my present place.”

“I must keep in mind the purpose to get rich through realization of my mental image.”

10. And I must do, every day, everything that can be done that day, taking care to do each act in a successful manner.”

11. I must give to every person a “use” value in excess of the “cash” value that I receiver (i.e. exceed expectations), so that each transaction makes for more life, and I must hold the advancing thought so that the impression of increase will be communicated to all with whom I come into contact.”

12. As I practice the forgoing instructions, I will certainly get rich, and the riches that I receive will be in exact proportion to the definiteness of my vision, the fixity of my purpose, the steadiness of my faith, and the depth of my gratitude.”
