You Fear the Sabre-tooth

6753809I read somewhere that the brain is wired since the stone age to think negatively so to protect us from the dangers that existed then.

Sabre-tooth as an example.

These days this negative thinking works overtime, stopping us from getting ahead in life.

Because we fear trying something new.

Fear of the Sabre-tooth.

This happens without us even realizing.

Without reading, preferably instructional books, then nothing will contradict that thinking.

You could even try swapping listening to the car radio station or your phone playlist for an audiobook.

The hours you spent while traveling, could be spent sharpening your mind against the Sabre-tooth.

Marvel_avengers_alliance_sabretooth_by_ratatrampa87-d6tj8tgThe benefits of investing in yourself will eventually be seen via your outlook in your life.

Maybe that’s what you need.

Maybe that’s what need.

A different outlook.

That comes from developing a habit of reading or listening daily to go sh*t.

Replace Your S** t Habits With Good Ones

I kept on seeing and hearing the name Simon Sinek being projected in my head.

Simon Sinek.

As if stuck in the frontal lobe of my brain.

Simon Sinek.

All this, haunting, while trying to sleep.

So here I am, writing about him.

I don’t know much about him.

He was first brought to my attention by a business partner who has a background in medicine.

Google Sinek.

From the little I know of him is that he’s a speaker.

He speaks about most about leadership. On what defines a leader and what drives her. Reasons why they are true leaders. Amongst other things.

He’s available on different social media sites, I also follow him on Twitter and IG.

He’s an author as well, he wrote Start With Why.

And there are lots of videos on the ‘Tube that have he’s talks.

I think there’s a vid of one of his talks I posted in one of my blogs that I thought was awesome.

There’s a bias that comes with being a leader that I want to take advantage of.

The monetary benefits of being paid to solve problems being one of them.

It’s as if followers create problems while leaders get paid to solve them.

So I’ve been listening to some of his audios as well. Him, John Maxwell and Gary Vaynerchuk are the 3 guys I’ve been filling my head with of late.

And Eric Thomas. #TGIM

I guess I can be obsessed with certain things in my life, such as my personal development.

If I don’t invest the time for it, noone else will.

Then I will just be like the rest of them, blaming my job or spouse or community or the government or the gods for my current, undesirable situations.

Not realising that the true problem here is me.

I fix me, all else gets fixed.

It’s an inside job.

5 Reasons Why It Is That Some Are Blessed More Than Others

Reason #1

It could be as simple as because they practice the discipline of thanksgiving every day. Oh ja that reminds me:
(1) I am thankful for witnessing the joy in my mother’s face and the dancing moves she and my aunts were making to the tune of the Christmas spirit because it filled my heart with that warm fuzzy feeling that at times feels foreign to me. It puts me back into the Vortex.

(2) I am thankful for the relationships I have and continue to establish because they put me in a position & choice to give love to them which in turn makes me experience happiness. And I think that is what life is all about: “Finding” Happiness.

(3) I am thankful for for my family because I see it in their eyes that they would move mountains for me to make sure that I am happy, loved, safe & well taken cared of. And I love them for that.

Reason #2

Now that is out of the way, I believe some are more blessed than others become they give blessings to all things, good or bad.

Because they know, in some form or another, that in whatever it that is happening there is a good reason behind it, even if at first sight there IS nothing good about it.

It is as if they know, in some way, that we all live in an orderly universe and all things make sense, or return back to order, eventually it’s just a matter of riding it out until you do.

Reason #3.
Why is it that some are blessed more than others? Maybe it;s because they have faith. No actually we all have faith, what we need to strengthen is having faith in things going right for us, even against all odds, than having faith in things going wrong for us.
I used to be under the charge of a team leader who, no matter what happened, she turned projects or tasks or instructions from management into negative things. Always making sure we knew were she stood on the matter, which was not in a positive light mostly (come to think of it I wonder why she hasn’t linked this negative thinking to her wavering health…oh well), even if it was good news.
She did it so well that even some of her/ my team members adopted her thinking. It was an amazing thing to watch, that was.
How suggesting a certain way of looking at something to someone can, with persistence, influence that person’s view of life. Subtle yet effective. Thank God I am an active reader of Think And Grow Rich.
Reason #4

I guess maybe that’s another reason reason why some are more blessed than others, maybe it is because they hang around with people who FEEL blessed and make it vocal of how fortunate they are to be breathing, to have a job or money coming in that puts food on the table or have an idea of what they want out of life and have a plan that they are executing to reach those goals or other “insignificants” they make significant.

(It reminds me of a Jim Rohn article about Evaluating Associations, Part 1 and you read also read Evaluating Associations, Part 2 here.)

You know, those people that achieve things that some of us are jealous of that we eventually equate their success with sleeping with the boss, drug dealings, the devil, corruption, luck, silver spoons, jean sizes, the stars, witchcraft, etc?
It’s funny how that works isn’t it?
How people criticize that which they want to become and wonder why they aren’t getting it? Yes I meant “getting it” in both ways.
You can’t expect to become something you don’t like. You brain won’t allow it.

The brain is set up to make you avoid things that would harm you. It’s like your on-board survival kit. So if you bad mouthing things tells the brain that those are the things you want to avoid, then you turn around and yearn for them?

The logic, pun unintended, behind that thinking, pun intended, is screwy.

Reason #5.

They see themselves as blessed. This line of thinking most see as arrogance, I see it as Deliberate Creation – regularly “acting as if” until life gives you ways of actually living and become the things you are acting out. I have come to a point where I don’t give a hoot what others say, especially when it comes to getting what I want in life so this reason works best for me.

“A belief is only a thought you keep thinking.” – Abraham-Hicks
So keep thinking a thought until you believe, i.e. affirm everyday of every morning and every night the words, “I am blessed” and therefore you are.
And if the above doesn’t come easy for you, then I invite you to work at it until it does. You have everything to gain and nothing to lose when you do.

“There Is Nothing To Fear But Fear Itself”

I believed she [my blog] needed a touch of luxury to her, and I felt that an Aston Martin DB 9 would suffice.

It’s like an expensive shoe that I wear only in the ‘burds so not to be soiled by the dusty township.

An expensive suede shoe…Italian obviously.

Funny, [Musa chuckles] the conviction behind my desire for this car, not only this car but the lifestyle that comes with it, intimidates most of the people I know.

I find it extremely intriguing how they seem to mirror my limiting beliefs regarding “living out my dreams.”

It’s as if the “true me” remains in bed, trapped by the freedom my dreams while I continue dressing up my fear so to get ready for the day.

It’s no wonder why it’s hard for them to believe me, or is it believing IN me, when my results had shown the contrary.

In the world of results we tend to believe “It” when we see “It” and not believe “It” when we don’t see “It.”

As if our eyes would never lie to us.

“Wouldn’t It Be Nice If…”

So I come back here, to my little corner of insanity, where all things are possible, where I can create what the world sees as miracles, even though I call them simple desires & draft out simple steps on what I believe needs to be done for me to get mine.

Filling my head with as much “crazy stories” that I sometimes let slip & challenge people’s reality as a result, to my fascination, but ease up on my mad scientist, law of attraction BS, so not to be an outcast, I guess.

I mean, talk long enough about how thoughts become things, and how dominate thoughts manifest themselves in the real world and, well, the world tend to become less populated if you know what I mean.

[And yes even best friends can be the things that limit your success in life.]

And then I make up one day in the top 1% of the successful people in the world.

A quote I wrote on my @musa23 account comes to mind:

Why You Feel That Life Is In The Dumps or You Are Not Getting The Things You Want As Fast As You Should

I need to write this out to myself for future referral:

Success Is A Mindset

Do you get it?

I had a problem with the amount of air Rhonda Bryne in respect to how I can attract money using the law of attraction.

What I am deeply grateful for was how she introduced me to David Schirmer, a successful trader and businessman who went from humble beginnings filled with hardship to multi millionaire using the law of attraction.

But what stuck in my mind, during the short presentation of money and the law of attraction within The Secret dvd, was what David said.

This was what had be do some more research on the guy only to find a wealth of information about him and the work he does.

David Schirmer said – “Wealth is a mind set. It is all in how you think…”

And I ask you this, “do you get it?”

I never DID get it and maybe Rhonda felt that since this is the most important thing to get there (Loral Langemeier was brilliant as well, not to mention Marci and Jack as well you know…heck everyone was awesome!) that she felt she should cut the teachers of The Secret short because we got it.

Yes I am a bit annoyed about that due to the amount of work, and releasing of blockers and truth seeking in connection to the law is and has been one of the most intensive self taught “course” I have ever decided to undertake.

…at least Rhonda Bryne could have alerted me of that don’t you think?

The journey has been nothing less than beautiful though I have to say J

That is what lead to this article.

The beauty of the going back to the fundamentals is much like watching a movie for the second time around, things you missed the first time become revealed increasing my understanding of the subject.

That is how what David Schirmer said began highlighted almost for me like Inspiration tells me “Musa do you remember what he said? About wealth begin a mindset? Could it also be true about success? Is success a mindset too?”

You see that just made me stop…and think…

Steve Pohlit was promoting a link to his website the other day via his twitter account in which he wrote some of the likes that the 1% rule is not a ratio but a mindset.

It’s said that the top 1% of the people in the world receive around about 97% of the money being that can be earned in the world.

So today I insert a couple of coins in the vending machine today with a feeling of not really wanting to eat the junk this cash machine is offering and as a result most of my coins where accepting, everything else came out by the “take your change” slot.

The button you push to release the change on the vending machine was not working (did you know that the technician can wire the vending machine that way? You push the button and I fails to respond. I didn’t ask why though, but surely to capitalist intensions) so I stopped to think about success.

So there I am, funnelling through the change that managed to survive being captured by the capitalist policies of the vending machine from my left hand through my right hand and then through my left hand again, looking at the machine not with resentment but in, well I would say deep, focused thought.

Then the voice in my head said, with the ever so peaceful stillness I am coming to associate with and become familiar with these days, Success Is A Mindset.

A person’s mindset, or how her mind is set, determines how he responds to things.

It is in how she response that his actions can be seen as those of a successful person or not.

Let’s make subjective example: you.

I can feel you adjusting your seat after I said that, yes you, let’s make an example of what I am talking about her with you as one of my examples.

A. Something happens in your life that changes things as there were, do you rant and rave, bitching like the rest, feel hurt or sad, and collect other past experiences that match in some way or the other to your current discomfort or misfortune. Being in a mood on injustice and unfairness that like for weeks on end.

OR…

B. Do you recognise the change and look for opportunities within the supposed failure or defeat, analyzing what you have gained from your loss (yes, read that again…analyze what you have Gained from your Loss), having a laser focus outlook in life and telling yourself that what you want is already yours, it’s just a matter of time until I have it. Having “it will work because I will make it work” perspective. An attitude you deliberately work on applying and improving, applying and improving, applying and improving X 10 until it becomes a habit.

Doing something new is usually rejected by the mind, even if it is good for you. This is true until the “new” has become a habit. And I read, I invite you to dispute this until you have personal experience of how true it is, somewhere that the “thing” becomes a habit after it as been done for a period of 10 times…or was it a full 30 day period, everyday not missing a day in between? Like I said, do the research.

So are you A or B?

There is no in betweener you are either the former or the latter, then again go betweeners usually fall in the A category so either answer you will be aware of where you are mentally.

Were you are mentally has a direct link of were you are physically.

Think about it…pun intended.

Girl #1 goes around holding a feeling of success and sees herself becoming, VERY IMPORTANT you SEE and even more powerful FEEL the good you would like to experience, and making a success of her life, even going as far as writing it out on a piece of paper an unaudited plan of what she feels needs to happen before she becomes. Feeling and seeing and feeling and seeing the exact same feelings and experiences she would feel and experience once the thing(s) she wanted to happen happened.

Girl #2 goes around bad mouthing other people’s successes. “it’s not his money.” “she slept her way to the top,” “she doesn’t deserve it,” “he didn’t work hard for what he has,” “she’s lucky,” whenever asked “so what would you like to do with your life,” followed up “well I don’t know” or “I’m not sure” or the same thing she said 2-5 years ago with no signs of her hustling towards her desire. It’s one thing to do as one of the Japanese Proverb states “A Clever Hawk Hides Its Claws” but it’s either you have results or you don’t.

To find out whether you are a successful person or not, look at your results.

The results don’t lie.

So Musa use your successful mindset as beacon to eliminate all of the crap that burn to nothingness from your touch with you only focusing on what you are becoming, not what you were.

Like Dr. Joe Vitale wrote in his Attractor Factor:

Step One – Know what you don’t want

Step Two – Select what you would like to have, do, or be

Step Three – Get clear

Step Four – Feel how exciting it would be to have, do, or be what you want

Step Five – Let Go

Yes, I wrote that for you because I wanted you to go re-read it. It would be like watching a movie the second time.
