Waking Up With Affirmations

You miss this part of your morning ritual and run the risk of being in the mercy of the day.

Keeping track of what you think plays a part in what you experience.ba7c9abb606c15dd012e0682228e828c

You tend to notice more of the things you think about.

This helps you in taking action on this things you are noticing, pulling them towards yourself.

So if you keep affirming the things you want to have, there’s a higher chance of you attracting them to yourself.

That’s were statements like “you become what you think about most of the time” comes from.

It’s one of the things that successful people do.

Most of them include affirmations in their daily routine.

Even if what they are telling themselves goes against what they are currently experiencing.

That’s why I think you have to adopt some form of insanity for you to be successful.

Because you have to believe it before you see it.

And affirmations help you do that.

I’m sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

Being Better Than Your Old Self

htwfaip”The way to get things done,” says  [Charles] Schwab, “is to stimulate competition. I do not mean in a sordid, money-getting way, but in the desire to excel.”

Ran our of characters for me to post this on Twitter so I’m posting it here.

Thought this was a cool quote.

Competing to be better than who you are.

From a book I’m reading again by Dale Carnegie, How to Win Friends and Influence People.

Thank you.

I’m sorry.

Please forgive me.

I love you.

Bet You Think This Blog Is About You

I sometimes forget the reasons why I write my blogs.

I get so cagey at time and I don’t want to associate with anyone or anything.

I lock myself in my shell when reality becomes to real for me.

But writing helps.

So like even if I’m going through stuff, writing something hopefully might be helpful to someone out there reading this.

The whole point of this is to pay it forward.

This life is not about you.

I think we are here to serve.pay-it-forward

In whatever form that comes natural to you.

Mine is writing.

Yours could be something else.

I’m not sure if you could say it’s your life’s purpose.

Turning that into something that pays you, that’s the rub.

Do things that come natural to you, things that make you happy.

The more you are in alignment with what makes you tick, the happier you will be, the happier the world will be.

“To deny our own impulses is to deny the very thing that makes us human.”

Thank you.

I love you.

I’m sorry.

Please forgive me.

You Have To Be Intentional

I am busy reading this book and there was a sentence that impacted me.

About how every process leads to a result.

How your current inactivity will lead to a certain result at the end of the month.

How your current activity will lead to certain results at the end of the month.

So in other words starting at the end and working your way back, to where you are now, is a good way to plan and achieve your goals.

That way you can begin now in doing the things and following the processes that will get you to where you want to be.

We all follow processes or habits that produce the results we get in our lives.

If you want to smell clean and fresh, you follow certain habits that produce that result…that being bathing, body spray and brushing your teeth.

If you don’t want to keep your job, then you can try out these habits, namely: show up late, you not meeting company’s target, behaving rudely to colleagues and clients.

And that’s a set of habits that will successfully get you fired.

So you could say everyone is successful, because even failing can be seen as something you can be successful in.

This due to the kind of habits you are successfully practicing.

If you want the results that your current habits of failure brings, keep applying those habits.

But if you want different results, then you should follow the process that will help you achieve them.

Success and failure are two sides of the same coin.

Sometimes we leave our success to the flip of a coin.

And call it luck.

Those who are wise enough to ask from those who have walked the path, so to make things easier for you.

By adopting their habits of success.

You follow the process and you will achieve the result that comes from your work.

In short, you are in control of the results you are getting in your life.

It’s a matter of being intentional about it.

I love you.

Thank you.

Journal About My Almost Mid-Life Crisis

What I love about BlackBerry – you know, the old ‘Berrys with the QWERTY keypads – is the feeling of the buttons underneath my thumbs.

Reminds me of those old “Tetris” handheld consoles during your GameBoys era.

Lol!

Should have used PSP instead of GameBoy some people won’t be able to relate.

Feeling nostalgic this afternoon.

As I said my goodbyes to a friend.

I would like to call him a friend.

Something I wasn’t too conscious about ever since I started the business.

In fact on a similar business model before this one, I used rapport for financial gains more than anything else.

But now it’s different.

I really enjoy people… I say that like it’s an achievement.

Especially like-minded oaks to help me when I’m down.

But people, some, can be awful at times, it usually spoils the view I have for the rest of them.

I speak like I’m an alien, separate from the human species, but like ja sometimes I feel that’s the case.

But it’s really nice when you meet someone who as a positive outlook.

Who laughs about life’s struggles but chooses to focus on making the best of things instead of bitching about them.

Not to denounce bitching, it has miraculous delightful benefits, but if that’s your only point view then life will continue to sucks for you.

‘Mean if being negative is your dominant reference point, life then for you is going to BE just that… Negative.

Since that is what you think with your thoughts, you affirm with your words and follow through with your actions.

That’s why I liked listening to some motivational CD a day.

A 15 min positive and/or instructive and/or motivation and/or inspiring read a day also does the trick too.

Come to think of it things are incredibly, sickly tough right now maybe it’s because of not practicing these simple daily principles on the daily.

Staying with the Mrs who I promised to marry while my wages can’t even take care of myself.

Only to have her being unexpectedly retrenched, she’s throwing the book to those fuckers by the way, leading to the creditors hounding her and the repo man gunning for her car.

What kind of a man am I to let my woman suffer like that?

Such very inspiring self talks I am told by my mentors to avoid having.

But on the flip side there’s a lot to be grateful for.

Even though there’s not much flexibility in our choices.

But I always says it’s only temporary.

Here I am trying to tell her that everything that is happening is bringing us closer to our goals…with nothing to show for it.

Which is true.

But it’s not her truth.

But I am grateful for choice.

As bad as things are, someone out there would give their left ball to live in what I call struggle.

The opportunities I have right now that I am taking for granted would drive someone else out there up the wall.

That’s why injecting the day with some form of positivity day in and day out will eventually train my mind to see these opportunities and allow me to capitalize on them.

“For every failure, there is an equal and opposite success.”

It’s just a matter of looking, intentionally for it.

“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened..”

I’m sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

“Take the first step in faith. You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.”

“Set a goal to achieve something that is so big, so exhilarating that it excites you and scares you at the same time”
~ Bob Proctor (See @BobProctorLIVE)

Have you ever asked yourself why do some people find it easy to attract prosperity, happiness & excellent health?

Especially those you find who never inherited it by birthright.

I’m speaking about those you know were never born into it.

Why do you think success come easy to them?

That’s when I was reminded of a quote I read on one of my favorite Facebook pages.

It read:

“Don’t compare your beginning with someone else’s middle.”
~ Jon Acuff (See @JonaCuff)

Wow…

…Don’t compare your beginning with someone else’s middle.

This puts everything right into perspective doesn’t it?

Each and every rags-to-riches story you’ve heard or read about had a beginning.

They kept at it, building the image of what in your eyes appears as success.

What you forget is that they all started from some place and that some place was their beginning.

Where you might be.

And the persistent action they took on a daily basis compounded and produced the results you see in their lives.

For every action, there’s an equal and opposing reaction.

Cause and Effect.

If you do nothing, you produce nothing.

But if you SOMETHING, you produce something.

But you need to have a plan.

And I can show one, if you like, when you Go Here

Thank you.

I love you.
