Why I Recommend Going Into Sales So To Improve Your Health, Relationships and Incomes

We sell to ourselves, and others, all the time.

Parents (should) sell the idea of a good & honest life to their kids.

Just a while a good friend of mind that I love sold the idea of us going on a couples retreat this coming December 2010 and I bought in to it.

Traffic reports sell the idea of the best route to take if you’re travelling on the road.

You even sell yourself at work, to your potential allies, and with business.

My advice is the more you learn about sales, the more successful you will be, the easier success will be.

The web is filled with articles about selling. See >> Top 5 Tips Of Successful Sales People (successful sales tips).

I use articles like above and see myself as the client as myself and the product as my goals. And sell to myself the benefits of “buying” in the having of the goal.

Why do I want?

What difference is it going to have in my life?

How many people in my life would benefit in the having (the achieving) of this goal (product)?

Don’t strive to making as sales pitch but more of really pointing out how easier & happier and assured life will be in the having of it.

Sell repeatedly, enthusiastically and “matter of factly.”

Focus on the vision of you making that sale (reaching your goal) and begin to hold that emotional, excited state of you having already received the thing you want, as you make the sale.

See and continue to revisit the state of having received often enough that you buy in to it & begin taking inspire action –take inspired action, Take Inspired Action, The Psychology of Success is about TAKING INSPIRED ACTION-INSPIRED, ACTION-INSPIRED, ACTION-INSPIRED – towards allowing yourself to receive it.

Increase your health, by being a better sales person and successfully – through repetition known as autosuggestion -selling the idea of a much improved health condition to yourself.

Including techniques like smiling as you see your future better self enjoy life at optimum levels of health.

This runs true with your finances, relationships, spirituality, physical fitness etc.

Why You Feel That Life Is In The Dumps or You Are Not Getting The Things You Want As Fast As You Should

I need to write this out to myself for future referral:

Success Is A Mindset

Do you get it?

I had a problem with the amount of air Rhonda Bryne in respect to how I can attract money using the law of attraction.

What I am deeply grateful for was how she introduced me to David Schirmer, a successful trader and businessman who went from humble beginnings filled with hardship to multi millionaire using the law of attraction.

But what stuck in my mind, during the short presentation of money and the law of attraction within The Secret dvd, was what David said.

This was what had be do some more research on the guy only to find a wealth of information about him and the work he does.

David Schirmer said – “Wealth is a mind set. It is all in how you think…”

And I ask you this, “do you get it?”

I never DID get it and maybe Rhonda felt that since this is the most important thing to get there (Loral Langemeier was brilliant as well, not to mention Marci and Jack as well you know…heck everyone was awesome!) that she felt she should cut the teachers of The Secret short because we got it.

Yes I am a bit annoyed about that due to the amount of work, and releasing of blockers and truth seeking in connection to the law is and has been one of the most intensive self taught “course” I have ever decided to undertake.

…at least Rhonda Bryne could have alerted me of that don’t you think?

The journey has been nothing less than beautiful though I have to say J

That is what lead to this article.

The beauty of the going back to the fundamentals is much like watching a movie for the second time around, things you missed the first time become revealed increasing my understanding of the subject.

That is how what David Schirmer said began highlighted almost for me like Inspiration tells me “Musa do you remember what he said? About wealth begin a mindset? Could it also be true about success? Is success a mindset too?”

You see that just made me stop…and think…

Steve Pohlit was promoting a link to his website the other day via his twitter account in which he wrote some of the likes that the 1% rule is not a ratio but a mindset.

It’s said that the top 1% of the people in the world receive around about 97% of the money being that can be earned in the world.

So today I insert a couple of coins in the vending machine today with a feeling of not really wanting to eat the junk this cash machine is offering and as a result most of my coins where accepting, everything else came out by the “take your change” slot.

The button you push to release the change on the vending machine was not working (did you know that the technician can wire the vending machine that way? You push the button and I fails to respond. I didn’t ask why though, but surely to capitalist intensions) so I stopped to think about success.

So there I am, funnelling through the change that managed to survive being captured by the capitalist policies of the vending machine from my left hand through my right hand and then through my left hand again, looking at the machine not with resentment but in, well I would say deep, focused thought.

Then the voice in my head said, with the ever so peaceful stillness I am coming to associate with and become familiar with these days, Success Is A Mindset.

A person’s mindset, or how her mind is set, determines how he responds to things.

It is in how she response that his actions can be seen as those of a successful person or not.

Let’s make subjective example: you.

I can feel you adjusting your seat after I said that, yes you, let’s make an example of what I am talking about her with you as one of my examples.

A. Something happens in your life that changes things as there were, do you rant and rave, bitching like the rest, feel hurt or sad, and collect other past experiences that match in some way or the other to your current discomfort or misfortune. Being in a mood on injustice and unfairness that like for weeks on end.

OR…

B. Do you recognise the change and look for opportunities within the supposed failure or defeat, analyzing what you have gained from your loss (yes, read that again…analyze what you have Gained from your Loss), having a laser focus outlook in life and telling yourself that what you want is already yours, it’s just a matter of time until I have it. Having “it will work because I will make it work” perspective. An attitude you deliberately work on applying and improving, applying and improving, applying and improving X 10 until it becomes a habit.

Doing something new is usually rejected by the mind, even if it is good for you. This is true until the “new” has become a habit. And I read, I invite you to dispute this until you have personal experience of how true it is, somewhere that the “thing” becomes a habit after it as been done for a period of 10 times…or was it a full 30 day period, everyday not missing a day in between? Like I said, do the research.

So are you A or B?

There is no in betweener you are either the former or the latter, then again go betweeners usually fall in the A category so either answer you will be aware of where you are mentally.

Were you are mentally has a direct link of were you are physically.

Think about it…pun intended.

Girl #1 goes around holding a feeling of success and sees herself becoming, VERY IMPORTANT you SEE and even more powerful FEEL the good you would like to experience, and making a success of her life, even going as far as writing it out on a piece of paper an unaudited plan of what she feels needs to happen before she becomes. Feeling and seeing and feeling and seeing the exact same feelings and experiences she would feel and experience once the thing(s) she wanted to happen happened.

Girl #2 goes around bad mouthing other people’s successes. “it’s not his money.” “she slept her way to the top,” “she doesn’t deserve it,” “he didn’t work hard for what he has,” “she’s lucky,” whenever asked “so what would you like to do with your life,” followed up “well I don’t know” or “I’m not sure” or the same thing she said 2-5 years ago with no signs of her hustling towards her desire. It’s one thing to do as one of the Japanese Proverb states “A Clever Hawk Hides Its Claws” but it’s either you have results or you don’t.

To find out whether you are a successful person or not, look at your results.

The results don’t lie.

So Musa use your successful mindset as beacon to eliminate all of the crap that burn to nothingness from your touch with you only focusing on what you are becoming, not what you were.

Like Dr. Joe Vitale wrote in his Attractor Factor:

Step One – Know what you don’t want

Step Two – Select what you would like to have, do, or be

Step Three – Get clear

Step Four – Feel how exciting it would be to have, do, or be what you want

Step Five – Let Go

Yes, I wrote that for you because I wanted you to go re-read it. It would be like watching a movie the second time.

How To Have The Power To Attract What You Want Rather Than What You Don’t Want

Life is just a reflection of the inner images, you associate yourself with, in your head.

The type of “movies” you replay in your head, inspired by past experiences probably, and affirm as being what you are about becomes so real for you in your head, you end up believing it them which therefore leads to you playing them out.

Yes, the mind is that powerful.

Belief is reality, change the belief and you change the reality.

Those “I can’t” or “It’s impossible” self-defeating self talk puts us in a state of mind that when temporay failure becomes manifest we are too quick to say “I knew this couldn’t be done. I just KNEW IT!”

Of course you did.

And it is because of this knowing, this knowing that we are going to fail, we (not “they”) delibarately brought this failure right straight to us.

What I am saying here, something most won’t believe, is said your bet was against you losing (due to how much you worried about it and doubting its success and fearing to succeed or lose [which in order case produces the same result]) you voted for the president of failure and not the president of success.

If my researched theory about how the mind works mentioned above is true, then you have systematically brought to you the results you are currently facing.

These results are only bad if we don’t learn the positive message the mind has mailed to us in the form of this event we are coming to terms with.

Yes, all events that come to us have a positive about it if we but work at gentle but persistently seeking it.

The diamond inside the coal.

All there is IS Love.

Love IS all there is.

Every good we receive is Love, all bad encountered is good, and once we learn this good lesson we discover that the bad that had occured is good, and therefore: Love.

Explore, experiment & grow with your mind, and find ways to focus on the thing you want to receive, (HINT: Play make believe and find images of it you can paste in a place you will notice regularly or carry around with. Saying “thank you” to yourself for receiving the thing in que…in “answer” ;)) and be grateful for it daily after having received it.

Getting Rich By Being Poor

Driving down old potch rd it hit me how on point Letu was. The billboards in Soweto are very much different from the ones in your Rosebank, Hilton, Sandton, Hatfield areas.

But also similar in the way that they sell a lifestyle.

And people buy into it with out really noticing.

It’s something that Think and Grow Rich taught me: Autosuggestion.

Which basically means if an image keeps being fed repeatedly in your mind, we find ways of attracting it, i.e. A friend keeps going on about a certain shops where the best deals in out can be found, sooner or later you find yourself in the shop.

Or in our case every corner I turn I see 20ft billboard dedicated to selling me beer.

Because “REAL MEN DRINK BLACK LABEL.”

If the companies selling the poverty stricken a lifestyle of finding salvation at the bottom of a beer bottle were not making money of this strategy, then we would be seeing them on the main roads of our townships.

But we do.

How benefits more by keeping people ignorant in managing their lives than the people how really on this ignorance in order to make profits.

I had a discussion with one of my facebook on how for me it’s like deciding for which team I want to play for.

The Winners or the Losers.

The entrepeneur or the worker.

The power of advertising exploits the masses at a subconscious level to become dependent on business for their survival.

It is unconscious that is why most would disagree with the above statement.

A guy once ask, “How long would you survive if you stopped working today?”

Most would because the trap by business has worked too well.

Most can’t imagine the thought of having to fend for their self basing their income on performance rather than time.

I can work on serving 10 happy clients a week than reek in maybe R500 each (performance) who in turn do my marketing for me via word of mouth or I can go spend almost 10hrs a day preparing, travelling, working, travelling, returning every work day only to get paid R5k at the end of 4 weeks.

I live amongst people who find the latter easier than the former because just like billboards, you find people, media, churches, friends and family who sell the idea which could be translated as, “You rather be broke and go to work or learn increase the money you earn at will by going in to business.”

“Oh and by the way, what are we drinking today?”

When They Interview Me 5 Years From Now I Will Tell Them…

Looking back, all I could do what fantasies with Intent & Emotion of the life I was going to live.

Believing in my dreams with the growing desire of wanting them to become reality was one of the things that keept me alive.

And in any case when it came to real material possessions, all I had was my mind.

The greatest and the most powerful assest every (wo)man has at their disposal.

And I played with it like a shark needs water to breath.

Everyday I imagined the impossible as if it was real, for me in any case.

Making whatever “realistic” plans to reach my “unrealistic” goals.

Every morning when I woke up I reminded myself who I was.

I was the end result of my successfully accomplished goals.

My stride was different.

My use of grammar and speech “improved.”

My carriage was full of self pride.

The vision I kept imagining in my head become clearer.

It began to be part of my memory, as if I’ve lived it before.

All the while being open to anyone or anything that will makes this lifestyle, my lifestyle, I kept closer to my heart than the lungs I breath, a reality for me.

Law Of Attraction: How To Make The Agents That Work Against You Work With You

In reading the personal development material I have been reading over the years I thought about the many a elements of success – this I did voluntarily so to break focus from a particular relationship challenge I am beginning to overcome.

One of the elements of success I immediately drooled over that quickly grabbed my attention was the saying “action speaks louder than words” which has brought new meaning to it than it did before learning about the laws of success – which also includes the sub law referd to as the law of attraction.

Even David Schirmer, one of The Secret teachers, also makes reference to this (see www.signpoststofreedom) of how being a walking encylopedia will not bring you success.

You must take action!

Truth be told watching and reading things like The Secret and thinking that if you only think about success, without any corresponding CONTINOUOS action, success will come to you.

This is partially true therefore you would mostly experience partial success.

Prayer and affirmations are both part of the same parcel as they are both tools that create our experiences.

And if they are both left unchecked, which is mostly the case since all the magic of creation happens in our subconscious “unconscious” mind any way, we run the risk of living a life with a variety of results.

Your “ups and downs” of life having a life of their own.

And who said the only time your prayers and affirmations “count” would be when we consciously take part in these practises of change.

Dear loveable reader it is when these acts of creation are done without thinking, unconsciously (“subconsciously”) that they are the most effective.

That prolonged thought you have, that prolonged emotion you hold on to and allow to occupy permanent residence in your body, the casual words you have with people you speak to even the name calling you mumble to yourself, these are, my beloved highly successful infinite being, the very prayers and affirmations that literally create our lives!

Formal or informal they still do the trick.

Apart from looking at your current results to see what type of words, feelings, thoughts and actions or inactions you associate with yourself – take the role of an observer today and look at what kind of creations you are creating with every thought, word and actions you feel.

With one quick assessment ask yourself: Do they make me feel good or bad?

With that quick assessment you will then see wich of the two roads – good or bad – you are travelling on and then you will immediately begin to limit and break focus on one and increase and expand on the other.

It’s a habit that must be lovingly, deliberatly and persistent be practiced daily until it has replaced your old unsuccessful ones.

Begin today.

You will begin to pick up momentum as you keep on looking at life as half full.

And then you will one come to a point of having developed a skill that will mentally blocking all negative thinking, focusing on how things should be not how they are.

I bless you days with an unlimited supply of happiness in many a forms and multiple streams.

Love & gratitude.

The Only Reason Why You Are A Failure Is Because You Don’t Act

Success follows action.

It is in inaction that there is NO success.

Like in a previous post where I wrote something along the lines of how for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

i.e. I do more than what is expected of me, I get back in return – be it in the form of an increase, incentives or recognition – the same amount of service I give.

As if I bring towards myself the goal I wish to achieve.

Like the “pipe piper” the thing I want to attract is attracting me in return.

That explains why I see so many broke, poverty-stricken therefore crime (competitively) enclined black men asking for government handouts.

It makes me go back to how “the ocean experience” was banned to anyone who wasn’t white during the times of apartheid – a blanket that is still exists, tucked away so not to be seen while you’re reading a travel brochure for SA.

You see, I told you what you focus on expands – I put a picture of Nelson Mandela here and it’s over, lol!

It was illegal for a black person to experience spiritual happiness through nature amongst other degrading, inhumane acts that was instilled but the past white government of oppression.

Never mind how the word white (slang for ingam’la) is synonymous with the world rich/ wealthy.

Hence the expensive nutritious and healthy food that the poor and “inactive” cannot afford, apart from the inspiring and life transforming resources exclusive to the rich, or those that act in this case*.

The oppression that has conditioned the minds of the elders that have raised us according to principles of the oppressor.

The “do as you’re told” and “remain inactive or rirk going to jail or punished,” maybe even dead or worse.

Success follows action.

Now how can I be successful if my life is threatened if I do?

This paralysis results in me not succeding even at a minute level.

And that’s where I should be most effective because it’s the little successes that build up to larger ones.

Yet my father told I can’t do it so I sabotage my successes due to how the apartheid government wired my father to believe.

And I continue to say, what you believe becomes your reality, and it is this “truth” you teach and pass on to your children.

The mentality I am expected to carry down to my kids or else risk disrespecting my parents – I don’t know about you but down here respect is a big thing…ok until the national broadcaster decided to flood our screen with Western culture. Prison Break and 24 rock by the way 😀

Now I’ve come to experience how people function with life at a physical level.

And yet I have also come to know that since science has proven that all things seen and unseen is energy and therefore spirit, it would be to my advantage if instead I approach life at a spiritual level.

By doing that I reclaim the power I give to the oppressor outside of me because by then I would be aware that I have the power to create all levels of energy, through the power of my mind, and therefore create every single thing I now experience.

This is done at an unconscious level, hence the confused frown you might be having on your face right now.

If the above holds true then the only enemy I have in this world is myself. And this enemy only exist through the limiting belief I bestow on my unlimited spiritual (energy) self.

Hence the conflict.

When I get up and do something about it, will I then only come close to experiencing change.

Because Success follows action.

Playing the blame game is only going to make me …a conformist.

And what I know about successful people i.e. Mandela, Wright, Obama, Schirmer, Ford, Einstein, Gandhi, Newton,Branson, Carnegie, King Jr, Proctor, Lincoln, Maponya, Buffet is that they do not conform because the have courage instead.

“The opposite conformity in our society is not cowardness but courage.”

And coming back to the * it just hit me that the difference between the poor and the wealthy is action.

Does who act get/ stay rich and those who do not get or stay poor or in this case unsuccessful.

For every action there is an equal an opposite reaction – Sir Issac Newton.

Like Bonginkosi “Zola” Dlamini puts it, “Get Up And Go!”
