The Voodoo You Do…

We used to call it witchcraft my girlfriend and I.

Even had a stab at it with my sister.

She used to study over an hour’s drive from home.

So we used declare to…

The Universe?

The road maybe…

Or are they all part of the same thing?

On the kind of cars we wanted to see on the way highway.

One time we made our intention to see a monster truck.

Not a very common sight to put modestly.

Put on our way home we took a detour to some upmarket mall to do some window shopping.

Next thing I know we are in a music store trying out some video game they were promoting.

It was a car game.

A monster truck car game.

I stopped halfway through and laughed at how bizarre this works.

How some way some how we managed to attract this desire offhandly and it found a way to come into our life experience.

We do this all the time.

To a point where my girl and I started writing down the things we wanted in our lives.

We don’t do it as much now…maybe it has to do with our fear of success?

But we used to, and man did the most delightful of things come our way…

In the weirdest of ways did they come.

In a sly kind of way, that we were thrilled about them.

Then it became kind of taboo.

Asking ourselves whether we deserved such goodness.

To a point, unconsciously of course, where we attracted jobs that took so much of our time that we couldn’t make the time, choose not to would be more correct, to intentionally create our lives by scripting it into life.

The hard way has become so familiar that, funny enough, it has become our comfort zone.

But now that she’s working her way out of these self defeating habits I guess I should speak for myself.

….let’s get to work then.

This is me going back to my “witchcrafting” ways.

Would You Like Me To Give You A Formula For Success?

Would you like me to give you a formula for success?

It’s quite simple, really.

Double your rate of failure.

You are thinking of failure as the enemy of success.

But it isn’t at all.

You can be discouraged by failure or you can learn from it.

So go ahead and make mistakes.

Make all you can.

Because remember that’s where you will find success.
